My first blog. Ever. Creating this blog was very easy for me. I'm pretty good with technology so I felt confident in doing the simple task of making a blog. I actually enjoyed making it, especially when I created my avatar. I like to personalize things so when I got to choose my background and my fonts, I knew that this was going to be a fun activity. When using the Web 2.0 tools, I am really looking forward to being able to put my thoughts and feelings into a blog. It's like another Facebook.
On the subject of the 7 1/2 Habits of Lifelong Learners, I had completely forgotten what lifelong learning was. I'm glad this tutorial reminded me of what they were. I think the easiest one for me was point 7 1/2. Playing is always easy for a child and when I played games that helped me on a subject, I learned a lot more. The hardest one for me was viewing problems as challenges. Whenever I couldn't figure out a problem on a subject, I would get frustrated and give up. I never was good with challenges. I always wanted to know how to solve a problem right then and there.
I agree that viewing problems as challenges is the hardest of the habits. It's so easy to see something as a problem not worth the fight, but if you accomplish it and overcome it, then you are better learner for the experience and lesson.
